Pre Wedding shoots, new cameras and a (slight) brand refresh!

The last few weeks have been a time of profound change for my family and I. We have been through some very difficult times, the effects of which will be felt for a long long time to come by us all. Whilst it has been tough, one positive that has come out of it is that it has reminded us just how important family is.  As well as significant change in my personal life, I have made a couple of fairly big changes to my business ahead of the coming wedding season. I have moved from shooting weddings with Fuji cameras to using Nikon cameras. The reasoning behind this move is kinda boring but I would be more than happy to go through it with anyone that might be interested.  Suffice to say I am very happy with my decision. Pairing my new cameras with Sigmas stunning ART series of lenses has me very excited for all of my upcoming weddings (thanks for the advice Amy, Duncan, Louise and Johnny!)

I have also started to push through with a business rebrand. This will be an ongoing process over the next few months and will likely end up with a complete website redesign at the end of the year (when I have the time), but for now I have a new business logo and watermark. I hope you like it as much as I do!

In addition to all of the above I have been very busy with weddings (Kate and Alex's wedding in Yorkshire was amazing.. can't wait to share it) and pre wedding shoots. Here are a couple of images from Caroline and James' shoot at Arley Arboretum this weekend, ahead of their wedding in two weeks time. Can't wait to work for them... such a wonderfully friendly couple!

I have been wanting to slightly refresh my branding for a while, and my new logo is (in my opinion) perfect!
I'm pretty familiar with Arley Arboretum ... I did my first photoshoot there way back... really looking forward to shooting Caroline and James wedding there in two weeks time.
