My third and final Christmas Wedding took place back at New House Farm in the Lake District just prior to the New Year.
Siobhan and Andrew were actually married in a beautiful little church in Loweswater, before returning to New House Farm to celebrate with family and friends. Whilst the weather was challenging (Storm Frank made an unwelcome appearance in the evening, forcing my wife and I to cut short a break we were taking in the lakes) we did manage to get outside for a short time during the day, grabbing a few shots at nearby Crummock Water in between dodging passing tractors and sightseeing tourists. I also shot with a medium format film camera at a wedding for the first time and I'm delighted with the results. Will definitely be using it a little more in the coming year.
Hazel and her staff at New House Farm are really wonderful people and run the venue magnificently. I must thank Hazel personally for looking after me during both of the weddings I shot at New House over the winter break.
Lastly, thank you so much to Siobhan and Andrew for asking me to be a part of their wedding day. I have loved getting to know them over the last year or so... they are remarkably lovely and relaxed people and I can only thank them greatly for making my work so enjoyable. Here are a few of their images...
