A Wedding in Hoby, Leicestershire, Amy and Stuarts perfect day, May 2016

About ten days ago I found myself driving up to a little village in Leicestershire called Hoby to photograph Amy and Stuarts wedding day.

Whilst I love shooting weddings in big grand houses and gorgeous rolling estates it is really lovely to shoot a more intimate village hall type wedding every now and again to. Amy and Stuart planned a beautiful day, starting at a nearby farmhouse for the Bridal preparations, before moving to Hoby for the wedding ceremony at the local church and onto the village hall for the celebrations.

It was a gorgeous day, great people, a sensational Gospel choir and a naked cake I nearly waltzed off with... lots of fun was had by all. AND I was treated to some absolutely sumptuous light in the evening... a real gift for a wedding photographer if ever there was one.

Here are a handful of images from Amy and Stuarts perfect day.
