Towards the end of May, I returned to Ettington Park Hotel in Warwickshire to photograph the wedding of Chris and Adele. I hadn't shot a wedding there for a little over a year and was very excited to be back at one of my very favourite wedding venues in the Midlands.

Chris and Adele were actually married at Adele's family church in Leicestershire, before everyone made their way to Ettington Park to celebrate (and participate in a rather amusing 'weddingoke' video being produced by Matt at raiseatoast, on which I make an appearance apparently... not looking forward to seeing it that's for sure!!).

Chris and Adele have been an absolute delight to get to know and work for. They gave me all the time I asked for on their day and have been extremely warm and friendly throughout the whole process of working for them. It really was a fantastic day... one of those occasions where you get home after a long working day and realise just how lucky you are to be doing a job you really love.

I should also give a quick shout out to my friend Gemma who did Adele's make up for the day. I didn't know Gemma would be working at this wedding and it was a lovely surprise to see her. She is a remarkably talented Make Up Artist and a lovely person ... totally recommended if you are looking for a MUA.
