Winter Wedding Photography in the Cotswolds. A first look for David and Melissa.

I photographed my last wedding of 2016 yesterday in the beautiful Cotswolds town of Moreton in Marsh.

David and Melissa were married at St. Davids Church in the town before moving on to the Manor House Hotel to celebrate.

Winter weddings can be quite a challenge...

It can be chilly and light can be limited (to say the least) and yesterdays wedding was no different. However, whilst challenging it was a wonderful occasion to be a part of. Not only are David and Melissa perfect for one another, and their family and friends really lovely to spend time with, but they had really put a lot of thought into their wedding day. It really was a true Christmas wedding... just look at the colours of the flowers and the Bridesmaids dresses.. Gorgeous!

I haven't done a 'first look' post for a long time.... this year has been 'busy' to say the least (more of that to come in a 2016 review post), but as it is the Christmas season and I'm taking a few days off now, I thought it would be the perfect way to end the year.

Thank you to David and Melissa as well as to Carrie and Stephen for a lovely day.... here are a few images with lots more to come next year!
