Alice and Greg.

Heightington, Worcestershire.

Worcestershire Wedding Photography

As just one of the many Wedding Photographers in Worcestershire, I get to attend lots of different types of wedding throughout wedding season. There are so many venues throughout the county catering for weddings of different types and sizes from small intimate ceremonies such as Danielle and Olivers day at Brockencote to Lottie and Alastairs big affair at Al's family home, that it means no wedding day is ever the same.

Alice and Greg were married last month in the Worcestershire village of Heightington in a countryside 'themed' church ceremony before celebrating with family and friends in the village hall 500 yards up the road from the church.

The day started off at Alice's family home in Bliss Gate where plenty of last minute speech writing was taking place wherever a flat surface was available!

Wedding Photographers in Worcestershire

The next few images might be some of the best Bridal Prep photographs I have taken to date (at least in my opinion of course!). Alice looked so beautiful in her gorgeous dress and her stunning hair is just well, stunning. A fairytale bride for sure.

Once all of the preparations were done with, I was sent on my way to the church with this cutie making sure I knew the way!

Wedding Transport in Worcester

Transport for the day was courtesy of the next door neighbours! This stunning 1930's Talbot Ambulance (one of only two left running in the UK) delivered Alice to the Church and then took them both on to the reception. An amazing vehicle in remarkable condition. Thank you to the owner for spending the time to show me this awesome piece of history.

A Worcestershire Church Wedding

This is Huw. Huw is great!

Huw took charge of one the very first weddings I photographed way back when and I have bumped into him many more times since. He is such a lovely man... welcoming, easy going and friendly and more than understanding when it comes to photography. It was kind of cool to note that neither of us had ever been at a service in Heightington before.

Maybe, just maybe the most beautiful view I have seen at any of the weddings I have photographed. I am so lucky to live where I do. Yes, I am about as far away from the ocean as its possible to be in the UK. No, it's not as exciting as being in London. But it is just the most gorgeous of counties.

And finally, the day was rounded off with yet another Ceilidh. As I said in Rollo and Clares recent blog post, they are a challenge to photograph but so much fun to watch!

Thank you so much to Alice and Greg for a wonderful day. To Pam for everything in the run up to the wedding and for welcoming me into her home in the morning. To Trefor for his help and slight mickey taking and to Liz and Dave for recommending me in the first place!

Surely the sign of a good party... Wine glasses filled to the brim and shoes strewn all over the floor!
