I got to do some work! Yes, I got to take some photographs of some real live human people…and it was wonderful.

I photographed Sarah and Freddy’s wedding a few years ago now (I can’t say exactly how long ago cos my memory isn’t what it once was but it was quite a while back). Anyway, we have stayed in touch ever since and every now and again, together with their wonderful daughter Olivia we have gotten together to take a few photographs.

Now, family photography isn’t really my forte (some may say that weddings aren’t either and to those people I would say.. keep that to yourselves), but I really enjoyed myself taking these images. Maybe it was because it was the first bit of work I have done since November last year. However, I think it was because it was just great to spend time with friends doing what I love.

I don’t actively market family photography… probably because it always brings to mind cringey studio shots taken in front of white backdrops. But, if you want a few fun photos taken during a fun couple of hours just taking a fun stroll around somewhere fun (theres a hidden theme in there somewhere) just give me a shout!
