Wedding Photography in Worcester. Gio and Ruths wonderful day at Greyfriars House.

Gio and Ruth

Greyfriars house and The Old Palace, Worcester.

I’ve lived in Worcestershire for nearly 20 years now. I love it here. It’s close enough to Birmingham and the motorway network to not be isolated yet we have the most beautiful countryside and peace and quiet right on our doorstep. It’s why we moved here and I’d only leave to live by the ocean or in Montana/Wyoming (which, let’s face it… isn’t going to happen).

Considering we have lived here for so long, it’s kind of odd that I don’t know the city of Worcester very well. I suppose most of us are like that… we tend to ignore whats right under our noses in order to explore further afield.

Two beautiful properties that I had no idea existed are Greyfriars House and The Old Palace, National Trust and Cathedral properties respectively.

Gio and Ruth asked me to join them and their family and friends for a few hours at the start of June to capture their wedding at Greyfriars and a short blessing at The Old Palace and it was a wonderful way to kick off my busy season.

The day was beautiful. We managed to nail a first look, I met Gio’s lovely Dad (a photographer from Milan if I recall correctly… probably don’t cos I’m getting old) as well as loads of lovely people from all over the world.

Massive thanks to Gio and Ruth. They are both really fun people to spend time with… full of joy and energy which I hope shows in their images. Here are a few of their wedding photographs.
